In today’s busy world, creating balance, equanimity, and inner calm takes both intention and practice. This retreat offers a clear and approachable path to those qualities through structured practice, guided relaxation, and time to integrate. Balance does not have to come from effort or strain; with the right tools, steady practice, and supportive conditions, a greater sense of ease can feel surprisingly natural.
Over four days and three nights, you’ll have space to unwind, reconnect, and restore. The added day beyond a typical weekend allows for deeper exploration of the relationship between strength and ease, supporting renewed energy, nervous system balance, and a more sustainable sense of well-being.
This retreat includes daily yoga, breathwork, meditation, and guided relaxation, together with time in nature, nourishing vegetarian meals, and the peaceful setting of the Himalayan Institute’s 400-acre campus. These elements come together to create an environment that supports both restoration of strength and a gentle return to vitality.
The whole retreat was everything I expected, and I got to meet great people with whom I am still in touch as of today. Luke, you have given me inspiration that will help me go through my grief and healing process and I thank you so much for that.
Elisabeth G., Labor Day Weekend 2025
For someone who has been primarily focused on modern postural yoga, Luke’s retreat was an accessible and thoughtful introduction to the deeper practices of the tradition. Luke’s guidance was clear, professional and practical. At the end, I felt perfectly equipped to bring specific meditation practices home and integrate them into my normal routines.
