This retreat is designed for anyone seeking recovery, deep rest, and gentle renewal. We warmly welcome all participants, with a special focus on people with NAH (non-congenital brain injury) and women with a history of breast cancer, inspired by my own lived experience.
Set on a peaceful, sunny stretch of the Croatian coast, this is a place to slow down fully. The yoga classes are soft, restorative, and carefully adapted to each participant’s needs and energy levels. There is no pressure to perform here — only mindfulness, care, and the space to simply be.
Alongside the yoga practice, you will have plenty of free time. You may choose to sit by the water along the promenade, read on your balcony, or do absolutely nothing at all. The village is small, quiet, and located right by the sea.
The yoga sessions take place in the mornings from 6 to 10 October. Each session lasts approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours and includes gentle yoga, breathwork, and relaxation. The classes are focused on recovery, balance, and ease. We work with calm postures, close attention to the breath, and plenty of pauses. Safety and each person’s individual capacity are central throughout. No prior yoga experience is required.
If desired, an additional afternoon class can also be offered.

We have prepared options for the most affordable flights from Amsterdam to Split. Traveling together makes the journey a little less tiring, and we understand how meaningful this step can be. As with luggage, you are responsible for arranging any special assistance you may need. For example, you can meet at Schiphol. A WhatsApp group will also be created so everyone can get to know each other in advance, while Geertje will already be in Croatia.
If everyone travels together, organizing the airport transfer becomes easier.
