Set in the wild natural beauty of Southern Italy, this one-week retreat offers a rare chance to go deeper into your yoga practice in a peaceful and inspiring setting.
Each morning begins with Mysore practice, while the late afternoons are devoted to pranayama, meditation, chanting, asana technique workshops, and open space for sharing and conversation. Together, these practices create an immersive journey of self-enquiry, where yoga becomes a contemplative inner practice that can bring greater awareness into daily life and support a more balanced, healthier, and happier way of living.
There will also be plenty of time during the day to rest and unwind. Guests can relax by the swimming pool, sit beneath a fig tree with a book, head to the beach, or explore the beautiful surroundings of YogApulia, where time seems to slow down.
With many years of experience as both practitioner and teacher, Eva offers attentive guidance tailored to individual needs, supporting each participant with enthusiasm, dedication, and compassion.
Eva’s deep commitment to Ashtanga yoga began with her Ayurvedic studies nearly 20 years ago, when she first immersed herself in the wisdom of Indian traditional medicine and its broader understanding of the human being. Since then, both disciplines have become part of her daily life.
This path eventually led her to Amsterdam, where she spent about 13 years deepening her yoga practice and studies, beginning to teach, and holding a daily Mysore program at the well-known Delight Yoga school. During those years, she traveled widely to study with many respected teachers. David Swenson was her first source of inspiration and had a strong influence on the way she approached practice. Lino Miele shaped her discipline on the mat and her awareness of body and breath. Today, Petri Raisanen continues to inspire her with contemplation, inner quiet, safe and caring touch, and a broader view of Ashtanga yoga and its evolution. Eddie Stern has also opened new perspectives on subtle practice and on using yoga as a tool to expand awareness in every area of life.
For Eva, practice is a ritual and a source of inner steadiness — sacred time spent fully within herself. It is a way to cultivate quiet, connect with her inner self, and reflect on purpose and direction in life. She now teaches between Amsterdam and Rome, sharing the joy, dedication, and vitality that this practice can bring.
The retreat center is set within 2.5 acres of land in a valley surrounded by olive and almond groves.
Accommodation includes six twin rooms and one double room, all with private ensuite bathrooms. Each room has been renovated to a high standard with locally sourced materials, creating a setting that feels luxurious, simple, and understated. A spacious outdoor courtyard serves as the main communal dining area, while several terraces provide comfortable places to relax in either sun or shade.
At the center of the property, the saltwater swimming pool becomes a vibrant gathering point, framed by blue water, green olive trees, and red earth.

Wherever possible, ingredients are local, seasonal, and organic. Refreshments are available throughout the day and include tea, coffee, water, and fruit.
Brindisi airport is approximately 40 minutes away by car, while Bari is about 55 minutes farther north. Renting a car in Puglia is an affordable and convenient way to explore the countryside, historic towns, and nearby beaches. Taxi transfers can also be arranged on arrival.
