Alpine Rock Climbing Course

Build confidence and practical skills for moving through alpine rock terrain in a hands-on mountain setting. Over two weekends, this 5-day intensive course takes place on a beautiful alpine multi-pitch climb in the Sierra Nevada and is led by AMGA certified guides. Designed for climbers who want to take their abilities beyond single-pitch outings, the program focuses on the essential systems and techniques needed for longer routes in the mountains.

Throughout the course, you’ll work on multi-pitch rope systems, anchor building, rope management, technical descents, and efficient movement across 3rd and 4th class terrain. Expect a supportive learning environment with plenty of time to practice and refine your skills while gaining a better understanding of alpine climbing. Participants should already be comfortable climbing 5.8 on rock before enrolling.
