A Time of Silence – A Time of Harvest
Spend a week immersed in stillness, nature, and deep mindfulness during this special olive harvest retreat. Surrounded by the scenic beauty of the olive grove, you are invited to connect with your senses and experience the ancient tradition of olive harvesting in a meaningful way.
What can I expect?
Throughout the retreat, the program includes:
- An introduction to mindfulness and the meaning of the olive harvest, along with meditation in the olive grove.
- Awakening the senses through tasting, texture, touch, and the physical experience of harvesting olives.
- Thoughtful processing of the olives from harvest to oil, including a tasting session of fresh olive oil to explore its flavour, aroma, and texture, plus a mini cookery workshop with simple, healthy dishes made from olives and olive oil.
- Mindful harvesting as a shared practice of teamwork and presence in a group setting.
Discover the world of olives and the profound connection between nature and mindfulness. Enjoy the harvest with all your senses and take in the experience fully.
By joining, you will of course receive a share of the harvest. Your olive oil, with the exact quantity confirmed after the harvest, will be delivered fresh from March 2025.
What to bring: sturdy shoes
Here’s what you can expect:
- Daily morning and evening sessions with meditation, mindfulness guidance, talks, feedback and sharing circles, and questions.
- One-to-one meetings with Peter Riedl.
- Olive harvesting in mindful silence, mindful speech, and a cheerful atmosphere.
- Mindful walks to secluded coves and river courses.
- Free use of stand-up paddle boards.
- Unlimited use of the yoga terrace, yoga tent, and the Calivi.
- Thai massages available to book on site, not included in the price.
- Closing Night – Harvest Festival.
- 6 litres of the finest olive oil, worth €150.00, as a thank-you gift.

Private Room (Peli Kastri Guesthouse)
Designed for a peaceful stay, this guesthouse offers eight double rooms with a calm, comfortable atmosphere and thoughtful essentials for a relaxing escape. Most rooms include a private balcony, creating an inviting spot to enjoy the fresh air and take in the surroundings. Two of the rooms can also be upgraded to host a third guest with an extra bed, making them a flexible option for small groups or families.
Every room features either a direct or indirect sea view, adding a soothing coastal touch to the experience. Guests will also find a kettle and a mini fridge in each room, offering a little extra convenience throughout the stay. With its simple comfort, sea views, and practical amenities, this accommodation is well suited for travelers looking to unwind in a quiet, welcoming setting.
Double room
Designed for a comfortable and restful stay, this double room offers a calm setting with thoughtful details throughout. Some rooms feature a balcony and sea view, creating a bright and refreshing atmosphere to enjoy during your time away. A kettle and mini fridge are also available in selected rooms, adding a practical touch for relaxed mornings and easy in-room convenience.
Soft Greek cotton textiles and handmade details bring warmth and character to the space, reflecting a simple yet inviting style. The room is well suited for guests looking for a peaceful retreat with a balance of comfort and understated charm. Whether you are unwinding after a day of wellness activities or simply enjoying quiet time indoors, this room provides a pleasant base for a restorative stay.
Peli Kastri Guesthouse
Stay on the retreat grounds and enjoy a setting that feels both restful and intimate. The guesthouse sits about 100 meters from the beach and opens directly onto the olive grove at the back. In the lower part of the grove, beside the house, you can find shade for reading, unwinding, or simply relaxing beneath the olive trees in a centuries-old, beautifully romantic garden. Depending on the season, you may even pick a grapefruit straight from the tree.
The lovingly renovated old house offers 8 double rooms, some with balconies. Two of the rooms can also be arranged for 3 guests with an extra bed. Every room has either a direct or indirect sea view, along with a kettle and a mini fridge. Thoughtfully furnished with Greek cotton, handmade details, and carefully selected pieces, the rooms are designed as a peaceful retreat where well-being and relaxation come naturally.
On the ground floor, guests have access to a lounge area and a spacious private terrace with elegant Greek touches. It creates a special atmosphere and is ideal for breakfast in the morning or a quiet evening of relaxation.
