This 8-day retreat explores the neuroprotective and physical wellness potential of psilocybin and DMT. While open to all adults, it is especially designed with the more mature guest in mind, creating a setting where brain health, longevity, and aging well are at the center of the experience. Expect a thoughtful community, meaningful conversations about healthspan, and guided practices that use psychedelics in support of vitality over time.
All pricing is based on single occupancy. A second participant may be added to your room for $3,650, which includes all retreat activities and services. Airport transport is included.
Your journey begins with a 10-point preparation checklist. Education is a core part of the process, and the retreat materials offer clear insight into the neuroscience and mechanisms behind these substances. In addition to learning, guests are coached in neuroscience-based skills, techniques, and exercises designed to help them move through each session with greater steadiness and confidence.
The Healthy Aging retreat emphasizes psilocybin’s neuroprotective and anti-aging potential through carefully guided macrodose experiences. Guests take part in two macrodose sessions, each intended to build comfort, safety, and skill so the longer-term benefits of psychedelic practice can be sustained. Learning how to navigate these states with confidence is key to making ongoing maintenance possible.
Recent studies suggest psilocybin may support cellular longevity and may even lengthen telomeres, pointing to possible benefits for extending healthspan. Researchers believe its anti-inflammatory properties may play an important role, especially in relation to inflammatory markers associated with age-related neurodegenerative decline and arterial hardening. Because these effects appear to be both short-lived and cumulative, regular maintenance may help maximize their value.
Beyond its physical effects, psilocybin can heighten appreciation for everyday life, turning textures, light, and the movement of leaves into vivid moments of wonder. At Eleusinia, psilocybin sessions take place in the open garden spaces, where nature supports relaxation, insight, privacy, and safety.
Each macrodose session lasts 4 to 6 hours and is tailored to the individual, with dosage and guidance adjusted to support both immediate impact and long-term benefit. After the first session, the team reviews each guest’s experience in detail so the second session can be refined to better match personal needs.
By combining macro- and minidosing, the retreat offers a balanced approach that supports brain health while also giving participants practical tools for integrating psychedelics into everyday life. This is especially valuable for those seeking cognitive resilience and vitality as they age.
DMT is a deeply psychedelic experience, often marked by visual and sensory phenomena that are difficult to describe. As a non-specific amplifier, it can intensify and shift auditory, visual, emotional, and somatic perception. While some themes may repeat, each session is highly personal and often becomes a lasting reference point.
In the context of healthy aging, DMT is especially interesting for its strong action on Sigma-1 receptors, which may contribute to its anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective effects. These effects may help address age-related inflammation linked to brain fog, cognitive decline, and the everyday aches and discomfort many people associate with aging. By working on these markers, DMT supports both mental clarity and physical resilience.
Because DMT cannot survive digestion, it is vaporized and inhaled rather than taken orally. This allows it to take effect within minutes. Guests receive careful coaching on vaporizing and inhaling properly so the process feels comfortable and efficient.
At Eleusinia, DMT sessions are held individually with two facilitators present, supporting both safety and immersion. Each session lasts about 10 to 15 minutes and is free from outside distractions. Though brief, these experiences are often among the most powerful and memorable parts of the retreat.
Unlike psilocybin, DMT does not create short-term tolerance, allowing guests to work with it more frequently during the retreat. For those focused on aging well, this can be a practical way to sustain progress, maintain mental sharpness, and support ongoing vitality.
Psychedelic experiences can feel dream-like: illuminating, confusing, beautiful, or challenging. Integration is the process of recording, interpreting, and making meaning from these experiences so they are not lost like a fleeting dream. It also recognizes that altered states are not the destination, but part of a broader therapeutic journey.
Eleusinia takes a holistic approach to integration, working across psychological, spiritual, and somatic dimensions. After a macrodose session, guests meet one-on-one with practitioners to reflect, document insights, and process what arose. These sessions also support those who had a difficult experience and can be recorded for later review or shared with a therapist at home.
For guests drawn to a spiritual perspective, individual integration sessions are available with the curandera, who offers insights rooted in traditional Mexican mushroom practices. Group meditation coaching is also provided, with an emphasis on somatic awareness and mindfulness.
fMRI studies show meaningful similarities between brain activity in meditation and psychedelic states. In simple terms, psychedelics can offer a glimpse of what deep meditation feels like, often making the practice more accessible and rewarding.
Meditation is not only useful after a psychedelic journey; it can also be a steady anchor during the experience itself. Paired with breathwork, it helps guests stay comfortable, centered, and open throughout the session. For many, this makes the journey smoother and more meaningful.
Working with meditation and breathwork before and after macrodose sessions can also help guests reconnect with the states and sensations psychedelics reveal. This combination supports lasting benefits and encourages a personal practice that continues well beyond the retreat.
For many guests focused on healthy aging, access to psilocybin after the retreat is an important part of a long-term wellness plan. The mushroom cultivation course provides the knowledge and skills to grow mushrooms using readily available and legal supplies, making practice at home more sustainable and accessible.
As part of the 8-day program, the class becomes a hands-on curriculum covering every stage of cultivation. For guests interested in brain health and extending healthspan, it offers not just a skill, but a way to maintain access to psilocybin’s potential neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory benefits over time.
This optional add-on class ($275) teaches how to extract DMT from legal, easy-to-source plant materials. It is especially useful for guests who want to include DMT’s neuroprotective potential in a long-term healthy aging plan. The class includes hands-on practice and purification techniques, giving participants the confidence and knowledge to continue at home.
A fully integrated medical team is on-site 24 hours a day throughout the retreat, supporting comfort and security at every stage. The team understands that older guests may have unique medical considerations, including daily medications and additional safety concerns related to age. Careful monitoring and guidance help each participant feel supported throughout their stay.
Retreats host approximately 10 participants, with a maximum of 14, ensuring an intimate and individually supported environment.
Optional intravenous therapies are available to enhance the wellness experience by delivering essential nutrients directly into the bloodstream. Personalized IV drips may include Vitamin C, Glutathione, Magnesium, Zinc, Vitamin B-12, and Chromium to support immune function, detox, reduced fatigue, mental focus, and overall balance.
IV therapy sessions ($185-$220) can be scheduled on days when no psilocybin activities are planned, allowing them to be administered safely and effectively.
Guests receive 6 months of free membership in an exclusive online community of past participants. This space offers connection with fellow guests and the Eleusinia team, along with group discussions on post-retreat wellness practices, dosing protocols, success stories, challenges, and progress.
Guests arrive in the afternoon at Eleusinia’s private mountain estate via private shuttle from Mexico City. The day includes a welcome snack of tamales and champurrado, intake meetings with the medical team, a neuroscience-based presentation on psychedelics, and a welcoming session with the curandera.
The first macrodose day begins with orientation, breathwork, and meditation. Guests then take part in a six-hour outdoor psilocybin experience in private garden spaces. The rest of the day is reserved for quiet recovery.
The day opens with an educational DMT orientation and practical coaching on vaporization and inhalation. Guests then follow individualized schedules that include a private DMT session, integration work, massage, and a group meditation class. The first part of the mushroom cultivation class takes place before dinner.
This is a rest and reset day, with optional IV therapy, one-on-one integration sessions, and an afternoon TRE (Tension & Trauma Release) class. In the evening, the second part of the mushroom cultivation workshop continues, followed by Dinner in the Dark.
The day begins with the first part of the DMT extraction class, followed by a second, more personalized DMT session. Guests choose their own place in the garden and are given their own vaporizer, with up to an hour to explore at their own pace. The afternoon continues with a traditional Temascal (sweat lodge) ceremony and time to unwind in the fireside indoor pool.
The second psilocybin session mirrors the structure of the first, while allowing guests to refine dose and intention based on what they learned earlier in the week. Many find this session more vivid and rewarding as comfort and familiarity deepen. The day
