Across seven days, you’ll move between primal martial arts, Qigong, forest walks, and time by the sea, while also experiencing contrast therapy, breathwork, shamanic rituals, and moments of deep rest. Day 1: Arrival and Grounding
Late afternoon: Arrival by 5 pm, followed by time to settle in, walk, and swim.
Evening: Welcome dinner and an orientation session introducing facilitators and participants.
Day 2: Foundations of Wellness
Early morning: Martial arts/self-defence session.
Mid-morning: Breakfast and personal time.
Afternoon: Bicycle ride to a local Goan thali lunch.
Late afternoon: Intuitive singing and music workshop.
Early evening: Qigong/somatics session at sunset.
Evening: Dinner and relaxation.
Day 3: Beach Day
Early morning: Martial arts/self-defence session.
Late morning: Departure for a full beach day.
Afternoon: Beach games, swimming, and bodyboarding, with Qigong at sunset.
Evening: Sauna, ice bath, breathwork, and shamanic rites.
Day 4: Deepening and Reflection
Early morning: Martial arts/self-defence session.
Mid-morning: Breakfast and personal time.
Afternoon: Experiential Enneagram workshop exploring ego patterns, personality insights, and relational dynamics.
Early evening: Qigong/somatics session at sunset.
Evening: Dinner and social revelatory games.
Day 5: Forest Whispers and Waterfall Echoes
Morning: Day hike through the forest to a beautiful waterfall, with an arts activity in nature and a cliff jump.
Afternoon: Local lunch and feni tasting in nature.
Late afternoon: Return to the property and free time to relax, book a massage, or explore the grounds.
Evening: Sunset expressive arts, dinner, reflection, and relaxation.
Day 6: Integration and Celebration
Early morning: Martial arts/self-defence session.
Mid-morning: Breakfast and personal time.
Afternoon: Shadow work session focused on personal growth and integration.
Late afternoon: Free time for reflection and relaxation.
Evening: Cacao and blue lotus ceremony, live music, and Sufi whirling.
Day 7: Farewell and Forward
Early morning: Closing circle with Qigong and reflections on post-retreat integration.
Mid-morning: Breakfast, our final meal together.
Late morning: Farewells and departures by noon. Flights should be booked for after 2:30 pm.
Facilitators
Qusai Kathawala offers therapeutic sessions centred on releasing trauma through mindful movement, including Qigong, Feldenkrais, and yoga, along with non-invasive touch through Craniosacral Therapy. With a Master’s in Design from ArtCenter College of Design and experience researching technology’s role in future health at Intel, he brings more than 25 years of study, experimentation, and teaching in somatics.
Vishesh Kalimero uses music to illuminate the inner landscape. After extensive travel across Asia and Europe, he gathered rare instruments and experiences, performing at music festivals, cultural centres, and meditation retreats. His work invites intuitive singing, dream-journeying, and the discovery of one’s hidden voice.
Aditya Roy is a martial artist, storyteller, and musician based in Moira, Goa, with 25 years of training under Indian and international masters. A direct student of GrandTuhon Leo T. Gaje, he is the youngest Tuhon in the world and leads LightHaven India, a martial arts school devoted to Pekiti Tirsia Kali, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Mack Barreto, a Mass Communication graduate from Xavier’s, Mumbai, has worked in communications strategy for major brands and later in corporate communications and motor sports. He founded The Local Beat in 2018 to share the Goa of his upbringing through stories, feni, and food, and has received the Outlook Traveller Responsible Tourism award for his authentic, community-rooted experiences.
