This fully residential traditional Hatha yoga teacher training course in Rishikesh is designed as a structured blend of theory and practice. It combines the 200-hour and 300-hour trainings into one complete 500-hour journey, with a progressive curriculum that begins at the foundational and intermediate levels before moving into deeper study of energy and psyche.
The training covers the core limbs of Hatha yoga, including asana, pranayama, mudra, bandha, satkarma, and meditation, along with anatomy and physiology, philosophy, alignment and adjustment, teaching methodology, and the practical application of yoga teaching. If a student has already completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course from a Yoga Alliance USA-accredited school, they may begin directly with the 300-hour level. By the end of the full course, students receive two separate certificates: one for 200 hours and one for 300 hours.
Assessment is carried out throughout the program through both practical and written tests. On successful completion, students are awarded a certificate confirming their qualification to teach the techniques studied during the training.
Inclusions: 49 nights of accommodation in shared or private rooms, course material including books, notebook, pen, and Jala Neti pot, course training, private yoga consultation on request, vegetarian meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), and Wi-Fi.
Exclusions: flight tickets, airport pick-up and drop-off, longer tours and trips, travel and cancellation insurance, medical assistance, and personal expenses.
During free time, participants may explore camping, hiking, meditation at the holy Ganga beach, Ganga Aarti, ancient temples, ashrams, holy people, Rishikesh city, waterfalls, river rafting, Ayurveda massage, shopping, and more.
The school’s approach is rooted in traditional yogic life and aligned with authentic lineages and spiritual institutions such as Ramakrishna Mission, Sri Aurobindo Society, Yogoda Satsang Society of India, and Bihar School of Yoga. Modern styles such as Iyenger, Ashtanga, Acro, Yin, Vikram, and Power are not taught. The environment is intended to support learning, healing, and growth in a safe, relaxed, and compassionate setting.
