This fully residential 500-hour Traditional Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Course in Rishikesh is carefully structured to combine theory with practical study. It brings together the 200-hour and 300-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Courses into one complete path. The training covers the core branches of Hatha Yoga, including asana, pranayama, mudra, bandha, satkarma, and meditation, along with anatomy and physiology, philosophy, alignment and adjustment, teaching methodology, and the practical approach to teaching yoga. The curriculum begins with foundational and intermediate learning, then gradually moves into more advanced and subtle dimensions, including energy and psyche.
Course structure and certification
Students first complete the 200-hour Traditional Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Course at the school. If a participant has already finished a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course at a Yoga Alliance USA accredited school, they may begin directly with the 300-hour Traditional Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Course. Together, these two levels form the full 500-hour training. Upon completion, students receive two separate certificates: one for 200 hours and one for 300 hours.
Assessment and inclusions
The teacher training includes ongoing assessment at every stage through practical and written tests. Successful students receive certification confirming they are qualified to teach the techniques learned during the course.
