You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the retreat center in the Sacred Valley. After settling in and exploring the space, you will meet the Andean and Amazonian Maestros — healers from the Q'eros community and the Amazon rainforest — for the first group gathering. The day begins with setting intentions for the retreat, followed by a special Coca Leaf reading ceremony to prepare for the Ayahuasca ceremony later that evening. During the reading, the Andean shaman offers personal spiritual guidance and space for your questions about the journey ahead.
In the afternoon, a yoga session will help you reconnect with body and mind. This is followed by a cleansing and flourishing ceremony, created to release negative energy and spiritual blockages that may affect your well-being or growth.
The Ayahuasca session begins in the evening and lasts 4 to 6 hours. Throughout the ceremony, the dedicated team will be present to offer expert care and guidance, supporting your comfort and safety. Afterward, you will have time to rest and recover peacefully.
After a nourishing breakfast, you will gather with the Maestro for an integration session, offering a safe space to share the insights and visions from the previous night’s Ayahuasca ceremony. This is a meaningful chance to reflect as a group and receive guidance from the shaman, who can help deepen your understanding of the experience.
Today’s light lunch follows the Ayahuasca diet. All dietary restrictions connected to the medicine are respected to support your process.
In the afternoon, you will deepen your inner connection through a sound healing session. A professional sound healer will guide the experience using traditional Andean instruments, allowing the vibrations and frequencies to support emotional and energetic balance.
As evening approaches, the group will come together for a moment of mindfulness and a short pre-ceremony meditation to center the mind and prepare for the second Ayahuasca ceremony. With an open heart and calm focus, you will enter this sacred space once more.
The ceremony lasts approximately five hours. Afterward, you will return to your bed for a peaceful and restorative rest.
After the final breakfast, the group will meet for one last gathering with the Maestros, including an integration ceremony. You will then take part in a heartfelt offering ceremony to express gratitude to Mother Earth, led by the Q'eros Master. There will be time to connect before transportation back to Cusco, bringing the retreat to a positive close.

Ayahuasca is a traditional Amazonian brew known for its powerful healing qualities. Made from the Psychotria viridis plant and the Banisteriopsis caapi vine, it has long played a central role in indigenous rituals. In guided ceremonies, it is believed to open pathways to self-discovery, emotional healing, and deeper insight. Its growing presence in organized retreats reflects a desire for personal growth and therapeutic transformation.
An Ayahuasca ceremony is often experienced as an inner journey. It may bring strong visions, deep reflection, and highly individual responses — some people find clarity, others face personal challenges, and many feel a stronger spiritual connection.
Your well-being is a priority, and a dedicated medical team is available to provide care throughout the experience. Traditional music and icaros performed by Amazonian shamans add another layer to the ceremony.
Andean rituals such as coca leaf reading and gratitude offerings help create a caring and sacred environment for your spiritual path. The intention is to support personal growth and healing in a respectful setting.
Yes. When guided by experienced facilitators, Ayahuasca can be approached in a secure and transformative way. If you have specific health concerns, the medical form helps tailor the experience to your needs.
Your safety matters deeply, and the on-site medical team is prepared to respond to any concerns and support you throughout the ceremony.
Yes. If you have conditions such as heart issues or psychiatric disorders, caution is essential. Some medications may not be compatible with Ayahuasca, which is why every participant is asked to complete a medical form. Any questions or concerns can be reviewed before you book, with support from the medical team.
It is important to be in Cusco at least three days before the retreat begins so your body can adjust to the altitude. Arriving on the same day as the retreat means you will not be able to join the Ayahuasca ceremony, as safety is the priority and altitude sickness can be a risk.
Please make sure you are in good health and consult your doctor if you have concerns about any conditions or medical history. Let us know about any health issues or medications before booking.
Yes. The dietary guidelines help prepare the body and mind for a safe and meaningful experience. Two weeks before the retreat, avoid pork, alcohol, cannabis, drugs, and spicy foods. Also avoid prescribed medicines or drugs during this time, as Ayahuasca can interact with other substances.
One week before the retreat, avoid red meat, junk food, sweets, soda, dairy, pickled foods, and caffeine. In the final days, eat well without extreme dieting, and reduce salt, pepper, and oil during the last three days.
Choose organic food with a little salt and sugar, and if you eat meat, chicken or fish are recommended.
Since the first Ayahuasca ceremony takes place in the evening, a light breakfast that follows the diet is advised before pick-up. Stay hydrated with water and tea, and avoid other foods or drinks. This preparation supports a positive and enriching experience.
Setting a clear intention is highly encouraged. Because the ceremony can be intense, having a purpose can help guide your experience and keep you connected to what you hope to learn. Reflect on why you are drawn to Ayahuasca, what you want to understand, and what challenges or transitions you are currently facing.
Practices that strengthen awareness and presence can also support your preparation before the retreat begins.
Some shamans also recommend avoiding sexual activity, including masturbation, as a way to preserve energy and better navigate the effects of Ayahuasca.
The purge, which may include vomiting or diarrhea, is understood in some traditions as a cleansing process that releases physical and emotional toxins. It is often seen as a natural and sometimes necessary part of the experience.
Ayahuasca is not known to be physically addictive. Many participants report reduced cravings for substances such as alcohol or tobacco after the experience. Still, it should always be approached with respect and responsibility.
Yes. Ayahuasca is legal in Peru and is recognized as cultural heritage and traditional medicine.
