Have you been dreaming of becoming a yoga teacher? Or maybe you simply feel called to go deeper into your practice, even if teaching is not your next step yet. This training is also a strong fit for current teachers who want to expand their knowledge and refine their skills.
Who is our YTT for?
This 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training is designed for people who want more than just postures. It is for those who want to explore yoga philosophy, anatomy, and the broader context of the practice in a small-group setting of just ten participants.
It is ideal if you are interested in inclusivity, cultural appropriation, and privilege in yoga, or if you feel that supporting others is part of your own growth. It also suits educators, counsellors, and community leaders who want to bring yoga into their work and communities.
What You're Learning
This holistic training weaves together asana, anatomy, philosophy, meditation, and pranayama so you can graduate with a well-rounded understanding of yoga beyond the shapes of the body. You will develop practical teaching skills through sequencing, cueing, adjustments, and holding space, supported by hands-on practice and personal feedback. Rooted in the Yoga Sutras and authentic philosophy, the curriculum is designed to support deep transformation and prepare you to teach with confidence anywhere in the world.
Module 1: Root Chakra (Week 1)
In the first 25-hour module, we begin with the foundations: the history of yoga, the origins of Sanskrit, the roots and branches of yoga, and an introduction to the subtle body through the koshas, pranayama, chakras, and the eight limbs. You will also workshop key standing poses such as tadasana, down dog, and the warrior series, while building foundational coaching skills for working with students and clients. This module includes the three-day How to Meditate course and the 1 Giant Mind mantra meditation tradition.
Module 2: Sacral Chakra (Week 1)
This module explores the philosophy of yoga in greater depth, along with a posture workshop focused on surya namaskar and vinyasa flow. Participants will complete eight hours of asana, meditation, and pranayama practice, and each person will practice teach one sequence.
Module 3: Solar Plexus (Week 1)
Here, the focus shifts to personal power. You will study the ethics of yoga, spend time with mudras, bandhas, and meditation, and workshop core-strengthening poses. Each participant will complete ten hours of practice and one practicum teaching experience.
Module 4: Heart Chakra (Week 2)
In this module, you will be introduced to pranayama techniques and take a detailed look at backbends and heart-opening postures. We also explore anatomy, the relationship between yoga, health, sensation, and pain, as well as trauma and PTSD. You will learn how to adapt your offerings for a wide range of students, including prenatal yoga and trauma-informed yoga.
Module 5: Throat Chakra (Week 2)
This module centers on communication and integrity of speech. You will explore teaching and assisting forward folds, while studying the musculoskeletal system in depth, including fascia, tissue, muscles, joints, the spine, and the core. You will also learn how to teach Mindful Let Go classes, which are yin/restorative-inspired sessions.
Module 6: Third Eye Chakra (Week 3)
The third eye chakra invites intuition and clarity. In this module, we study physiology, including the vagus nerve, the stress and relaxation response, respiration, and anatomy. You will workshop twisting poses and learn the foundations of sequencing yoga classes, including class elements, pose selection, arrangement, and segmentation. Yin Yoga classes are also covered.
Online Work
As part of the 2026 training, students are asked to complete online anatomy lessons and online yoga practices before arrival, or during free time in Bali. These are required for course completion.
Module 7: Crown Chakra (Week 3)
In the final module, you will learn the foundations of student safety, how to adapt for different student types, and key teaching methodology. You will also explore the business of yoga, including marketing, reaching your potential as a teacher, and building revenue streams. The training concludes with a final class taught to a group on graduation day, along with a final exam.
