This 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training is designed to help you reconnect with your inner wisdom — the teacher that has always lived beneath conditioning, habits, and external influence.
In yogic philosophy, the “guru” is not found outside ourselves. It is the inner light of awareness, revealed through disciplined practice, self-study, and lived experience. Through asana, breathwork, meditation, philosophy, and inquiry, this training invites you to explore the many layers of your being: physical, subtle, energetic, psychological, and spiritual.
More than a professional foundation, this is also a personal initiation. By the end of the course, you will leave prepared to teach yoga with confidence, while staying connected to your own voice, integrity, and intuitive intelligence — teaching from direct experience rather than imitation.
The training is delivered across 2 x 9-day modules, both held at MoY Lisbon, followed by the final 3 days at Mandira Yoga Centre. It is facilitated by Vinay Jesta and Zoe Taylor, two highly experienced yoga teachers.

Vinay is an internationally recognized yoga teacher with more than 15 years of teaching experience. For over a decade, he has led yoga teacher training programmes and workshops in India, Europe, and around the world, with a strong passion for shaping conscious yoga educators.
Raised in India, he grew up in an environment where yoga was part of everyday life, including Bhakti, Karma, and Jnana Yoga, not only asana. His own journey began early, guided by his parents through pranayama and meditation, and later supported by teachers from different lineages. Around 2008, he discovered Vinyasa as a practice that blends alignment with synchronized breath and movement. He values the mindful awareness this requires, and his alignment-based Vinyasa teaching is often described by students as natural and playful.
Vinay believes yoga is for everyone — whether you are a spiritual seeker or a fitness enthusiast. In his view, yoga is inclusive and free from judgement.

Originally from Tasmania, Australia, Zoe discovered the nourishing power of yoga in 2010 while living in Melbourne and working as a business consultant. After completing her foundational teacher training in 2013, she traveled widely through Europe, Australia, India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal, expanding her understanding of yoga and its benefits. She has since completed more than 700 hours of registered training, along with extended stays in ashrams, meditation centres, and retreats around the world.
Since dedicating her life to yoga and opening a yoga studio in Portugal, Zoe has taught over 9,000 classes across groups, retreats, private sessions, corporates, festivals, conferences, and online. Her teaching has been shaped by Ashtanga, Rocket, Power, Vinyasa, Iyengar, Hatha, Yin, Vipassana, Patanjali Sūtras, and more. She also holds certifications in Biomechanics, Physiology, Reiki (level 1 & 2), and a Master of Business (MBA) from Deakin University.
