Traditional Hatha / 30 Days / Yoga Alliance Certification
This one-month, 200-hour yoga teacher training in India is designed for dedicated yoga practitioners who want to immerse themselves in the depth of traditional Hatha yoga in a शांत, supportive setting. The program balances practical teaching preparation with a strong foundation in pranayama, meditation, and yogic philosophy, making it suitable not only for aspiring teachers, but also for students seeking a meaningful shift in body, breath, and awareness.
Half of the training is devoted to developing teaching skills, including detailed study and practice of asanas and teaching methodology. The other half focuses on refining pranayama, meditation, and a practical understanding of how traditional spirituality and yogic lifestyle can be integrated into modern life. The course is intended to support those who want to live with greater clarity, purpose, and balance in today’s fast-paced world.
Style of Yoga?
The training centers on traditional Hatha yoga, with special attention to spinal anatomy as the foundation of asana practice. Rather than emphasizing speed or flowing sequences, the method focuses on alignment, stability, and a thoughtful approach that respects the body’s structure and limitations. Chakras and the subtle energy body are also part of the study, allowing the practice to be adapted to each student’s physical and mental needs.
Classes always include pranayama and Yoga Nidra. In contrast to many modern styles, this approach places strong emphasis on stability, correct alignment at the eight major joints, and breath awareness to extend the duration of each posture. Faster flows are discouraged when they ignore the basics of joint and spinal anatomy.
This 200-hour training provides the essential techniques and knowledge needed to begin sharing yoga in a professional way. Even for those who do not wish to teach, the practices and philosophy offer a deeply cleansing and enriching experience for body, mind, and intellect.

Yoga Alliance Certification
Students are assessed throughout the course across five areas: self-practice, teaching skills, anatomy + ayurveda, philosophy + psychology of yoga, and spirituality of yoga. Morning practice supports personal progress and ensures students can confidently demonstrate the asanas taught in the training. Teaching ability is evaluated through 12 supervised teaching sessions in small groups, and each trainee must teach at least two classes. There are also written exams in anatomy and philosophy. If needed, individual support is provided to help ensure a clear understanding of the material.
The ashram has been accredited as an RYS 200 and RYS 300 Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance USA since 2010. The certificate is valid for RYT registration with Yoga Alliance. During the final week, guidance is provided on registration, insurance, taxation, medical release forms, and the business side of teaching yoga.
