Description

Traditional Hatha / 30 Days / Yoga Alliance Certification

Designed as an immersive one-month experience, this 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in India is also known as a Yoga Instructor Course. It is especially suited to dedicated yoga students who wish to explore the depth of traditional Hatha yoga in a calm and supportive setting. The program balances physical practice with teaching methods, pranayama, meditation, and practical philosophy, helping students connect classical yoga principles with a modern lifestyle shaped by stress and constant pressure. While it is ideal for future teachers, it also welcomes anyone seeking a meaningful shift in body, breath awareness, and life direction.

Style of Yoga?

The training is rooted in traditional Hatha yoga, with a strong emphasis on spinal anatomy, alignment, and individual adaptation rather than fast-paced flow. Attention is given to the chakra system and subtle energy body so that asana practice can be adjusted to each person’s physical and mental needs. Rather than following a generic sequence, students learn to work with the body’s structure, joint limitations, and overall stability.

All classes include pranayama and Yoga Nidra. Another key focus is steadiness (Sthira), proper alignment in the 8 major joints, and breath awareness that supports longer, safer holds. Faster sequences that ignore anatomy and breath are discouraged.

This course provides the essential techniques and knowledge to begin sharing yoga in a professional and grounded way. Even for those not planning to teach, the practice and philosophy are designed to support cleansing, clarity, and a more peaceful way of living.

Who Can Come?

  • Those practicing yoga regularly for at least two years.
  • Students physically fit for four hours of daily practice.
  • People comfortable with two theory classes a day and a written exam.

Yoga Alliance Certification

Students are assessed throughout the course across five areas: self-practice, teaching skills, anatomy + ayurveda, philosophy + psychology of yoga, and spirituality of yoga. Morning practice supports asana proficiency, while teaching skills are evaluated through 12 supervised teaching sessions in small groups. Each trainee must teach at least two classes. There are also written exams in anatomy and philosophy. If needed, individual support is provided to ensure key concepts are understood.

The ashram has been a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School since 2010 and offers a certificate valid for RYT registration. In the final week, guidance is also given on registration, insurance, taxation, medical release forms, and the business side of teaching yoga.
