Traditional Hatha / 30 Days / Yoga Alliance Certification
This one-month, 200-hour yoga teacher training in India is designed for dedicated yoga practitioners who want to immerse themselves in the depth of traditional Hatha yoga in a calm and supportive setting. The course is equally suited to aspiring teachers and to students seeking a meaningful personal transformation through a deeper connection to body, breath, awareness, and yogic living.
Half of the training focuses on preparing students to teach, with detailed work on asanas, practice methods, and teaching methodology. The other half develops pranayama, meditation, and practical philosophy, helping students integrate the physical discipline of Hatha yoga with traditional spirituality and a yogic lifestyle in today’s fast-paced world.
Style of Yoga?
The training is centered on traditional Hatha yoga, with an emphasis on spinal anatomy, stability, and intelligent alignment rather than speed or flowing sequences. The approach also considers chakras and the subtle energy body, allowing the practice to be adapted to each person’s physical and mental needs instead of following a fixed generic sequence.
Classes always include pranayama and Yoga Nidra. A key distinction in this ashram is the focus on steadiness, proper alignment across the 8 major joints, and breath awareness to support longer, safer asana practice. Faster flows that ignore joint and spinal anatomy are discouraged.
This course provides the essential techniques and knowledge needed to begin sharing yoga in a professional and responsible way. Even for those who do not plan to teach, the practices and philosophy are intended to support clarity, balance, and a healthier way of living.

Yoga Alliance Certification
Students are assessed continuously throughout the course across five modules: self-practice, teaching skills, anatomy + Ayurveda, philosophy + psychology of yoga, and spirituality of yoga. Morning yoga sessions support personal practice and ensure students can confidently demonstrate the asanas taught in the course. Teaching ability is evaluated through 12 supervised practice sessions in small groups, and each trainee must teach at least two yoga classes. There is also one written exam on anatomy and one on philosophy. If needed, individual support is provided to help students understand the key concepts clearly.
The ashram has been accredited as an RYS 200 + RYS 300 Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance USA since 2010. The faculty includes at least six teachers, most of whom are E-RYT 500 or ERYT 200. The certificate is valid for registration as an RYT with Yoga Alliance, and the final week includes guidance on registration, insurance, taxation, medical release forms, and the business side of teaching yoga.
