ABOUT THE TRAINING
This 200-hour YTT in Rishikesh offers a Yoga Alliance accredited certificate valid worldwide. The program runs for 3 weeks in a unique ashram resort, Rishikesh Yogpeeth, with AC, hot water, and wi-fi.
You will be served fresh vegetarian meals prepared with local, seasonal produce, with vegan and gluten-free options available upon request.

ACCOMMODATION
The training takes place in a yoga ashram in Rishikesh, in the foothills of the Himalayas, 2.5 kilometres from the core of Yoga’s birthplace, 1 kilometre from the sacred Ganga, and at the foot of Patna waterfalls.
A deposit of $500 secures your place. If plans change, date changes are free and easy.

What kind of yoga do we teach?
We focus on the traditional path of Hatha Yoga, while sometimes introducing elements from the primary series of Ashtanga Yoga when it fits the flow of the class. Strong emphasis is placed on inner awareness, alignment, pranayama, and meditation, helping students deepen their practice and learn how to share yoga with others.
How much emphasis is given to teaching methodology and practice?
The course is designed to be interactive and practical, with plenty of teaching opportunities, including two practical exams and feedback from peers and tutors.
Will I be able to teach after the course?
Yes. The program is created to help you develop your potential and prepare to become a yoga teacher.

Is the training all in English?

Do I need to bring my own yoga mat?
Yoga mats are provided, though you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
Will I be able to explore Rishikesh during the day or on the weekends?
Most students rest after classes, and there are 2 days off during the training for exploring the area. These days may or may not fall on the weekend.
How to get to your school from the airport?
Transfers can be arranged from New Delhi Airport or Dehradun Airport at your own expense, with approximate taxi costs provided on request through the enrollment process.
Can I book an extra night at your resort?
Yes, you can arrive early or stay longer after the training for a small additional fee, with meals included, subject to availability.
Is there a laundry service at the resort?
Students are encouraged to handle their own laundry, though reception can arrange laundry service at a reasonable cost per piece if needed.
I'm a male. Will it affect my accommodation options?
Everyone is welcome. Male accommodation depends on the number of male students in a given month, and if there are no other male students, a private room is required.
