ABOUT THE TRAINING
This Yoga Alliance accredited training leads to a certificate recognized worldwide. Over 3 weeks, you will live and study in the unique ashram resort Rishikesh Yogpeeth, with AC, hot water, and wi-fi available.
Fresh vegetarian meals are included, prepared with local seasonal produce. Vegan and gluten-free options are available upon request. The setting is peaceful and inspiring, perched above the Patna waterfall and the sacred Ganga river, with the Himalayan foothills all around you.

Nitish Lakhera – Lead teacher
From the Himalayas, Nitish is an experienced yoga teacher in Rishikesh with more than 6 years of teaching experience. He specializes in Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, pranayama, and meditation, with a strong focus on safe, effective practice through precise alignment.
Dr. Amaravathi Eraballi – PhD Yoga and Life Sciences
Dr. Amaravathi Eraballi has spent years researching yoga and health sciences, including teaching MSc and PhD students on the effectiveness of yoga in the medical field.
Aman Tiwari – Lead teacher
Aman’s deep passion for yoga has led him to years of study in Sanskrit and yoga studies. He is dedicated to helping students discover the same sense of inspiration.
ACCOMMODATION
The training takes place in a yoga ashram in Rishikesh, in the foothills of the Himalayas, 2.5 kilometres from the center of Rishikesh and 1 kilometre from the sacred Ganga, at the foot of Patna waterfalls.
A deposit of $500 secures your place, and if anything changes, shifting your dates is free and easy.

FAQ HIGHLIGHTS
The course is rooted in traditional Hatha Yoga, with occasional elements from the primary series of Ashtanga Yoga. The approach emphasizes inner awareness, alignment, pranayama, and meditation, while also teaching students how to create their own sequences.
The training is interactive and practical, with plenty of teaching practice, including two practical exams with feedback from peers and tutors. It is open to all levels and ages, and the classes are conducted in English only, with an intermediate level of spoken and written English recommended.
Up to 30 students are welcomed per group. Yoga mats are provided, though you are free to bring your own. Students also receive 2 days off during the training to explore the area.
Extra nights before or after the training can be arranged for an additional fee, with meals included, subject to availability.

Female dorm room only — a simple, comfortable shared space designed for participants looking for an affordable stay in a supportive retreat setting. The room includes four single beds, along with a shower, air conditioning, hot water, and Wi‑Fi for a practical and restful experience.
This option is especially well suited for guests joining the program, as it includes 2 meals on training days, 200 RYT training, and access to all community events. You’ll also have yoga equipment and learning materials provided, making it easy to fully participate in the schedule and focus on your practice.
