Set in the spiritual heart of India, this 3-week residential training offers a traditional approach to hatha yoga while meeting Yoga Alliance standards for RYT 200 certification. It is designed not only for those who wish to teach, but also for anyone seeking a deeper personal connection to yoga, a healthier lifestyle, and meaningful growth in an ashram environment.
The program welcomes participants over 18 years of age, from complete beginners to advanced practitioners, provided they are physically fit, have basic English proficiency, and bring a sincere interest in learning yoga. Living in Rishikesh adds another dimension to the experience, offering exposure to local culture, cuisine, and a supportive yoga community.
Training takes place in a disciplined ashram setting, where daily practice and a structured routine help create focus, inner clarity, and transformation. The curriculum includes asana, pranayama, meditation, yogic lifestyle practices, yoga history, philosophy, anatomy, and teaching methodology. Students also develop the confidence and competence needed to begin a professional path as yoga teachers.
This 21-day residential course is built around traditional hatha yoga and supervised learning. Each day combines practical sessions, theoretical study, and self-study, allowing participants to absorb the material in a balanced and immersive way. The program is intended to build a solid foundation for safe, clear, and effective teaching.
Through this training, students gain the essential knowledge and skills required to begin teaching yoga responsibly. Continued practice after the course is encouraged, as growth in teaching comes through experience and consistency.
Rishikesh offers an authentic setting for in-depth yoga study, supported by respected teachers and a long-standing spiritual tradition. At the ashram, students explore the theory and practice of hatha yoga in a comprehensive way, while also experiencing spiritual development through meditation, chanting, and mindful living.
