Abhayaranya Yoga Ashram is a registered Yoga Alliance school in Rishikesh, offering a fully residential training experience for students at every stage of practice. Set in a peaceful ashram environment, the program creates space to step away from daily distractions and focus on deepening your yoga journey in a supportive, traditional setting.

The training combines Hatha yoga, pranayama, meditation, anatomy, and philosophy, following internationally recognized standards. On successful completion, students receive a Yoga Alliance-accredited certificate, which supports registration as an RYT 200 or RYT 500 and is recognized worldwide for those who wish to teach yoga professionally.

The course fee is all-inclusive and covers the complete curriculum, comfortable accommodation, nourishing vegetarian meals, and all study materials.

200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

This foundational 21-day course offers a strong introduction to yoga postures, breathwork, and meditation. You will also study anatomy, teaching methodology, and philosophy in an intensive format aligned with Yoga Alliance requirements. Graduates are eligible to register as RYT 200.

The curriculum is designed to provide both practical experience and theoretical understanding, while meeting Yoga Alliance standards throughout.

• Asana: Daily practice of traditional Hatha yoga postures with proper alignment, modifications, and adjustments.
• Pranayama: Breathwork practices for energy control and mindfulness.
• Meditation: Guided sessions to develop concentration and inner stillness.
• Yoga Philosophy: Study of Patanjali's Yoga Sutras and other classical texts to explore yoga as a way of life.
• Anatomy: An understanding of the human body, including bones, muscles, and their connection to yoga.
• Teaching Methodology: Training in class sequencing, voice use, and adjustments.
• Ayurveda: An introduction to Ayurvedic principles, diet, and daily practices.
