Yoga is not only a practice, but also a path toward a meaningful career. This 100-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course offers one such pathway.
The day begins with yogic detoxification, known in Sanskrit as Shatkarma, the internal cleansing of the body. Teachers explain the theory, methods, and benefits of each practice.
Jal Neti – nasal cleansing with warm salty water and a neti pot provided by the school.
Sutraneti – a cleansing method for the nasal passages using a cotton thread for advanced practitioners and a rubber tube for beginners.
Tratka – eye cleansing through two techniques.
Kapalbhanti – a skull-cleansing practice that is also part of pranayama, helpful for maintaining body weight and improving breathing power.
Kunjal – abdominal cleansing that leaves students feeling light and healthy.
Introduction to Vinyasa flow, its origins, and how it differs from other yoga classes.
How to teach Vinyasa flow, build sequences, and structure classes effectively.
General teaching guidelines and identifying and correcting poor habits in asanas.
Understanding alignment and why it matters.

Visa information, cancellation and transfer policy, and strict policy (no refund).
You are required to arrive one day in advance, according to the date published on the website.
It is recommended to apply only for an eTourist visa. Six-month visas, three-month visas, and other visa types are not applicable.
Training fees are non-refundable once you join the course. The initial enrollment fee is also non-refundable, though it allows you to join another month’s course within one year of enrollment. A transfer is permitted only once with 45 days’ written notice from the date of registration. Requests for cancellation or transfer made within 45 days of the course start date will not be accepted.
No refund or transfer will be accepted within 45 days of the start date, including for sickness, travel elsewhere in India, or any unavoidable circumstances. In case of cancellation for any reason or no-show, the deposit will be forfeited. A second transfer request will not be accepted. The Sun YTTC reserves the right to refuse admission if the balance fee is not paid in cash upon arrival. Once you check in and join the course, any later cancellation will not be accepted and the full fee will be forfeited.
Excursions are part of the 100-hour yoga teacher training experience. Every Sunday, trips are arranged to places such as Kunjapuri Temple, Beatles Ashram, Parmarth Nikethan, and Vashishta Cave. These outings are included in the course fee at no extra cost. On Sundays, only breakfast is served, leaving the rest of the day free to explore. Lunch and dinner can be enjoyed at local eateries, offering a chance to experience the food culture of Rishikesh.

Designed for comfort and simplicity, this shared room offers a peaceful stay with everything needed for a relaxing retreat experience. Guests have access to attached bathrooms, along with hot and cold water for showering, making it easy to refresh and unwind at any time of day.
The room is prepared with clean bed sheets, pillows, and blankets, creating a welcoming space for restful sleep. For added convenience, essential toiletries are provided, and each guest has a personal wardrobe for safe-keeping belongings during the stay.
Wi-Fi access is available, allowing guests to stay connected when needed, while the surrounding nature views bring a calm and grounding atmosphere to the room. Simple, practical, and comfortable, this shared accommodation supports a pleasant and easygoing stay.
